... from my weekend in London ... unfortunately :-( (
but it seems impossible to go to London by plane we spent less than going by train from Bologna to Florence ... you could just not take the opportunity ^___^
While last time I was given to the cultural holiday, this time I just playing with the idea of me for a ride hedonic markets. I let myself be carried away by the heat of the shopping and the camera is almost always remained Lost in the bag except in some rare cases where something really special or fun has managed to rekindle my desire to capture ... like that old 500 in the window of a brasserie ... I find the idea of using the 500 as counter to expose croissants and slices of pizza is too funny.
in London and discount periods, so do not tell you how many people could be in the shops of Oxford and Regent Street on Saturday afternoon ... and needless to say it was certainly the most spoken language Italian; - ) personally do not like having to get into fights in shops and on sidewalks so in the end we decided to move away and take a stroll Soho and Chinatown ... and here we have found shops where fruit and vegetables on display was unknown to me, and shops selling items in oriental style cooking ... moooooolto interesting ^ _ ^
Another tourist destination that I had never was seen Camden Town, home to a market where you can find products at affordable prices of all kinds, including clothing, books, food, antiques and bizarre objects. The markets and surrounding shops are popular among young people, particularly those who are looking for alternative clothing style vintage . Very very nice ... and the market stalls along the canal and the shops along the street. Of When lock evening then light becomes even more special and spectacular.
and could not miss a visit to Notting Hill . Famous and picturesque residential district of London, distinctive for its colorful houses in pastel colors. In addition to being the scene of a very particular market and an eccentric carnival, is also the place where it was shot by a famous film starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant.
From Notting Hill in a few minutes walk away is the legendary Portobello Road, home of the most largest antiques market in the world, with over 1000 stalls displaying all kinds of antiques and collectibles. The market takes place on Saturday, while the shops are open six days a week. The shops and stalls of Portobello Road offer an extraordinary variety of pieces, with prices ranging from a few pounds to thousands of pounds. And here guys I really left my heart ... you can find just about anything!
What do you think of this men's clothing shop fully furnished with sewing machines of the early twentieth century? Truly amazing ... on the shelves there have been thousands of sewing machines!
Not to mention stores small items for the kitchen ... portatorte, serve yourself, backsplashes for cupcakes and many other things. Just to give you an idea check it out
not believe it but there is a shop that sells only items to decorate the doll house! In my life I had never seen so well-made reproductions and detailed ... and it was also true of China!
I confess that if I could I would have taken home a bunch of stuff ... I do not know if I should say fortunately or unfortunately ... but the fact of having the only luggage hand forced me to limit purchases. If you want to find out what I have donated will touch you come to see the next post ^____^
